Daily logs and attendance — where your daycare enables them
Some daycares use Zukeepr to record check-in and check-out, meals, naps and daily notes. Where yours does, you see them for your child. These are optional tools each daycare turns on for itself, so they are not available at every provider.
What it costs
Plainly, and up front — so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Browsing and applying — free
Searching, comparing and applying cost nothing. The free plan covers up to five active applications at a time; declined applications do not count towards it. Premium lifts the limit if you need more.
$10 administrative fee — once, only if you accept a place
Charged at the moment you accept an offer of enrolment, alongside any registration fee your daycare has set. It is non-refundable. Nothing is charged if you are not offered a place, or if you decline one.
$3 platform fee — per invoice
Added to each invoice your daycare issues through Zukeepr, including monthly tuition. It is non-refundable. Your daycare receives the full amount it has set — the platform fee is not taken from them.
Stripe payment processing fees
A Stripe payment processing fee applies to every transaction on the Platform, including the $10 administrative fee, the $3 per-invoice platform fee and all daycare-charged amounts. For card payments the fee is 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction; for ACH Direct Debit it is a percentage fee capped at $5.00 per transaction, which makes bank debit the lower-cost option where it is available. The fee is shown as a separate line item before you are charged.

Does it cost anything to use Zukeepr as a parent?
Browsing daycares is free, and so is applying — the free plan covers up to five active applications at a time. You pay a one-time $10 administrative fee only if a daycare accepts your application, and a $3 platform fee on each invoice after that. Stripe payment processing fees apply to every transaction and are shown before you are charged.
How do I know a daycare is licensed?
Every provider submits its childcare licence number during sign-up, and our admin team cross-checks it against the relevant state registry before the listing goes live. Only licence-verified providers appear in search.
How many daycares can I apply to?
Up to five at a time on the free plan. Applications that have been declined do not count against that, so the limit is about how many are live at once rather than how many you have ever sent. Premium lifts the limit if you need more — see the pricing page for details.
What happens after I apply?
The daycare reviews your application and either offers you a place or declines. You will see the status change in your dashboard and receive an email. If you are offered a place, you choose whether to accept — nothing is charged unless you do.
When am I charged?
Nothing is charged while you browse or apply. The $10 administrative fee is charged at the moment you accept an offer of enrolment, alongside any registration fee the daycare has set. Monthly tuition begins according to the schedule your daycare sets.
Can I see attendance and daily notes for my child?
Where your daycare has enabled those tools. Attendance, daily logs, meals, naps and report cards are optional features each daycare switches on for itself, so availability depends on your provider rather than on your plan.
How do I pay?
Through Zukeepr, by card or bank debit, using Stripe. Bank debit is the lower-cost option where it is available. Your payment details are held by Stripe, not by Zukeepr, and every invoice itemises what you are paying before you are charged.
